It is with great sadness that I advise you all that our dear friend, the father of Twinning is ill. Mr.  Phil Atteck, the pioneeer visionary who brought Port of Spain, Trinidad and St. Catharines together more than 40 years ago is in hospital. We have all been changed by his love of magic and his love for his fellow man.

40th Anniversary Twinning Visit - January 2008
We had a great time. I hadn't been to Trinidad for some 37 years and I was amazed at how much it has changed. Yet, there were so many things that remained as I remembered. The warm sun and blue water, the happy people, the friendly hearts, Carnival, and much more. We appreciated the reception that Mayor Murchison Brown and Ms. Laraine Alexander treated our delegation to. It was superb. Thank you to the City of Port of Spain. Thank you T & T. Thank you Aunt Alice Lucas and the Johnston family. Your continued support of the Twinning concept has been life altering for so many people. Thank you to my parents, Marnie and Ivan Chamberlain. We would not have had the experience if you had not pioneered the way.
